“When you really want something, you give it your all and you are moved by it, it is impossible for it to leave others indifferent”. Without realising it, Sol Ferrándiz foretold her own fortune before presenting her first collection.
Just one year after graduating in Fashion Design at the IED Madrid, Sol Ferrandiz’s career can be drawn by success: she has become part of the design team at Inditex; she has become the youngest designer on the Samsung EGO catwalk of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid and, lastly, she has won the first edition of the EllE Fashion Now.
The fashion magazine has broadcast the talent of new generations with this international initiative. In the Spanish edition, Inmaculada Jiménez, the Creative and Fashion Director at ELLE Spain, showed her support for Ferrándiz, the former student’s brand: “She is very skilled at capturing the fabric and local crafts of her country, and Sol Ferrándiz Jerez turns classic pieces into innovative and artistic designs”.
EllE Fashion Now is an initiative that seeks to highlight the work of new fashion generations. The editors of one of the 46 editions of the magazine have chosen their favourite designer from three looks from his or her first collection and the popular jury has chosen the young designer with the greatest international projection.
